Valvai Summer festival is a remarkable festival among Sri Lankan Tamils. More than 15,000 Tamils all over the world participated in the summer festival. Valvai Kodai vizha is organised by Valvai Welfare Association (UK). I had the privilege to attend this event on a bright summer day. I had a great time interacting with Tamil people who had gathered. Most importantly enjoyed authentic Tamil foods like Kotthu Roti, Varities of Appam, Odiyal Koozh, Kozhi Pukkai, Vadai, mutton roll, Green and Rose Sarbath.
