We are in the heart of the Dolomites, the via ferrata is demanding and suitable for people who are a little trained and above all who do not suffer from vertigo. You will not be disappointed.
The Via Ferrara Tridentina is one of the most beautiful and popular via ferratas in the Dolomites. The landscape is magnificent. To be able to enjoy it you have to stop and gaze at the majestic mountains that create a perfect scenography; it's a joy for the eyes and the camera.

ITINERARY
Gone. From the car park, which is located between Passo Gardena and Colfosco, take path no. 29 which goes east - towards Colfosco - until it reaches the start of the via ferrata.
The via ferrata is divided into three parts, so after the first and second parts there is an escape route, that is, you can take the path and leave the via ferrata. The last stretch is the most challenging. If you take this last stretch you have to get to the top by force, because going down would be very dangerous. In the last section you pass over a suspension bridge. Finally, an easy path and you arrive at the Rifugio F. Cavazza al Pisciadù - 2:30 hours.
Return. You go down the path n. 666 along the Val Setus. In the first part of the descent the path is aided, so be careful. 30 minutes from the car park, take path 666A - 1:30 hours.
