Bassam Aramin is Palestinian. Rami Elhanan is Israeli. They inhabit a world of conflict with an infinite multiplicity of sides, worldviews, experiences...

BWF is thrilled to present New York Times bestselling author, Colum McCann, in conversation with Michaela Kalowski, with his latest work, Apeirogon. Arranged into 1001 'chapters' - fragmentary vignettes of grief, and healing, and resilience - Apeirogon is ambitious in style and structure.

This extraordinary novel is the fruit of a seed planted when the McCann met the real Bassam and Rami on a trip with the non-profit organization Narrative 4. Moved by their willingness to share their stories with the world and their hope that if they could see themselves in one another, perhaps others could too, McCann has produced a spectacular piece of art.
