Scripture: 1 Corinthians 4: 1 & 2, 14-16

Summary: In this passage, Paul (the apostle) is writing to the Corinthian church about being followers of Jesus. In verse 15, he warns them and says, "For though ye have ten thousand instructers in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel." On this Father's Day, we remember not just fathers, but father figures. In this life, we may have many mentors and father figures, but one natural father. Just as we have one natural father, we also have our ultimate father who is Jesus. He has given us all a Call of Duty to be that guiding light for someone else.
