All series, the Suns had decided to aggressively double and triple Kareem to limit the skyhook and his offensive rebounding. In part they were successful, Kareem still had a spectacular series though, and Game 3 might have been his best one. In the fourth quarter especially, Kareem decided to take over (15 points in the quarter) as he made several clutch defensive plays, passes and shots before finally sealing the game with a contested 15 footer.
