Dewdney Peak rises above the town that shares its name. This bump of forest would hardly be worth visiting if it wasn't for the little cabin built in 2005 by local residents. In honors the helicopter pilot Ben VonHardenberg who lost his life fighting fires near 100 mile house. A hike up to the summit and lookout followed by a night at the cabin is a great way to learn more about Ben and take in the great views over the Fraser Valley.
