They say it doesn't rain but it pours. It certainly did me for me on the day I attended two weddings. I wasn't invited to either. I just happened to be in the area, stopped to take photos, and found myself being invited. These were both Hindu weddings taking place during an auspicious month in the calendar. I love the colours and exuberance of Hindu weddings. I also love the wonderful elaborate rituals which had me captivated. I would have spent more time just watching them but I had to film from different angles and mix with the crowd who were as warm and welcoming to a stranger like me as were the immediate families brought together for such a memorable occasion. Oh, and did I mention the food?...Delicious!
