This is part one of my two-part video where I look to provide an overview of the application process for a career in Finance, discuss the mistakes I made when I applied as a first year University student, and provide some insight on the changes I made that resulted in me receiving several summer internship offers.

In this video specifically, I talk about the pathway from Spring Weeks in your first year of university to Summer Internships and Graduate Positions, as well as briefly touching on a few important elements of the hiring process, such as method of assessment, remuneration, and converting.

It should be noted that this video serves largely as an introduction to the video that will follow directly after it; without first talking step-by-step through the application process, it is much more difficult for me to effectively explain the key changes I made between my first and second year.
