Women's bladder can store more urine than men's bladder. The total capacity of a women's bladder is 500ml. So, in an overactive bladder, the bladder is not filled and sends the message to the brain to empty it.

If men or women are going to the washroom more than eight times a day, it is due to the cause of an overactive bladder. But if a urologist diagnoses this problem timely, it can be treatable with medicine. There is a lower percentage of people who will not be cured with the help of medicine.

Many of the patients were cured with the help of proper medications. Pregnancy, childbirth, and menopause may contribute to urinary incontinence in women. But these are also treatable with medications.
