Video Title: So I Played The AMAZING Spider-Man Game You Can't Play Anymore (Amazing Spider-Man 2)

In this video I am revisiting the Amazing Spider-Man 2 game in 2024, this game is based on The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Movie from 2014, which means this game is 10 years old now, it was published by Activision which means it could return in the future on Xbox thanks to a deal with Marvel.

The game was released on April 29 in North America and May 2 in Europe for the Microsoft Windows, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U, and Xbox 360.

The Web-Rush bullet time mechanic from the previous game makes a return, now enhanced to enable players to perform critical strikes, dodges, and rolls as well. The game features a variety of side missions, including stopping petty crimes, engaging in car chases, and battling gunmen in the streets. Players can also throw bombs into the ocean, transport injured civilians to hospitals, and rescue people from burning buildings. These side missions are randomly generated for added variety.

A new morality system, called the Hero and Menace System, tracks Spider-Man's reputation. Successfully completing these missions boosts his standing with the public, branding him a "Hero." However, failing to respond to certain crimes in time can lower his reputation, turning him into a "Menace." When this happens, Enhanced Crime Task Force officers will patrol the city, attacking Spider-Man on sight and using weapons that disable his web shooters. These officers will disappear once Spider-Man redeems himself and restores his heroic status. Its a frustrating mechanic which makes you constantly have to do missions otherwise you become a menace.
