SHE'S DONE! This project took sooo much work but it was worth it because it came out so fun! The color palette for this one was also a TON of fun to work with! As soon as I heard this song I just knew that I had to make a video with it, so I am very jazzed that this is finally done!

PLOT:

After a Gathering, Hawkfrost and Ashfur properly meet for the first time. Hawkfrost is looking for someone troubled within Thunderclan to help him with his scheme to dispose of Firestar, and Ashfur fits the bill, especially with his already existent grudge against the Thunderclan leader's daughter. Using his smooth talking, Hawkfrost convinces Ashfur to work with him. Ashfur revels in this opportunity to get back at Squirrelflight through her father, while also falling head over heels in love with Hawkfrost. Hawkfrost plays along with the romance (perhaps even feeling something himself!), and even takes Ashfur to meet his father in the Dark Forest.

When the fateful day arrives and Hawkfrost is "betrayed" by his brother and killed, Ashfur realizes just how much Hawkfrost had begun to mean to him and sobs at his lover's death. He doesn't get to grieve for long however, as Hawkfrost's spirit returns to visit him and tells Ashfur that their revenge will be sweet. With his Dark Forest boyfriend by his side, Ashfur watches as Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight move on to begin living a happy domestic life together with their kits. This infuriates Ashfur, but Hawkfrost soothes him with promises of their inevitable vengeance. When Ashfur is given Lionpaw (one of Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight's kits) as an apprentice, he uses this opportunity to bring him to the Dark Forest as well in an attempt to corrupt him.

Then there is the infamous fire scene, with Hawkfrost goading Ashfur on as he threatens Squirrelflight and her kits, only for the secret that they are not her biological children to be revealed. This fills Ashfur with contempt, and Hollyleaf, with her worldview broken, decides to kill Ashfur to keep the secret. As Ashfur dies, Hawkfrost looks on, his expression unreadable.

Did he love him? Is he upset that Ashfur died? Or was Ashfur only a tool to him? That's up for you to decide! :)
