This is my very first attempt at carving or engraving with a rotary "Dremel" type tool. I used Welsh slate and this was very much a practice exercise. I have never used a rotary grinder for stone carving and this proved to be great fun!
If you are interested, I have posted this on a blog on my website: www.stoneengravings.co.uk with more info and details about the project.
If you are interested in having a go you will need a grinder there is loads of choice here : https://ebay.to/2FguppP
You will also need good diamond burrs you can find tons of them here:
https://ebay.to/2u5UmSB
A huge range of diamond burrs on Amazon: https://amzn.to/35xRGiE (check shank size)
My favourite set of burrs: https://amzn.to/31OOHl1
I like these coarser ones: https://amzn.to/37QaoVB
These cutting wheels are invaluable: https://amzn.to/2HwP257
Good luck and please let me know how you get on!
