What a start to the season ahead for the Crow...
A quick stop at the famous lugs for 2 hours fishing before work resulted in a catch of a lifetime for this estuary, especially for the tackle used and on lure.
Arriving early this am on a pushing tide, the conditions were perfect after ages, starting near the mouth area and working the area to the bridge and back…
With a couple hits and no fish landed his spirit was somewhat dampened but he persisted and it paid off big time… hooking into a steam train on his light setup lol.
With the fishes initial run, ending up almost across the lagoon Lionel slowly worked his magic, with some skill and patience he managed to safely land and release a decent Garrick.
BIG UPS ON THE RELEASE…
No time to play games he fished on, moving towards the mouth area, landing a decent flathead before he could head of to work.
Lionel frequents this venue once/twice a month for a quick session before /during work whilst passing by.
Often catching a variety of fish whilst ultra-light and light drop shot fishing.
