I decided to try something a bit different from my typical hike. I rented a kayak from Northbrook Canoe Company and did a run on the Brandywine Creek in scenic Chester County Pa. I have been very impressed thru my travels with the amount of recreational opportunities available in this part of the state, along with the fairly rural feel of the area in such relative close proximity to the city of Philadelphia.
