emo bramblestar?????

A year later I come back here to rewrite the description because I've matured since I posted this video and realized many of the things I wrote down are confusing.

So, I am not very active In fandoms and these things (It's really not my thing) so I wasn't aware of the things that could be controversial or not. And I am sorry for those I made uncomfortable with this video.

Apparently it is a gray area, and In the Warriors community it is a big deal. I heard the trans people who said this was bad and the trans people who said this was completely fine. I never took back my apology, though. In the end, instead of saying this is right or wrong, the moral of the story is that we need to be aware of our doings and the consequences of it. For the sake of that, I won't be drawing genderbends anymore.

And the moral of the video is just really Squirrelflight as a dude and her thinking that Bramblestar sucks and if she was a guy she would treat a girl differently. This was kind of a vent, as I based it almost completely on my feelings towards my ex boyfriend (who kind of reminds me of Bramblestar). There's no big social critique about sexism and abuse. It's just really a cat video I made when I was down.

Okay guys, I've read most of the comments by now. I am really sorry for this. Honestly, I am not very active online and had no idea genderbends were harmful. Now that I know I promise I will never do anything like this again. I never meant to harm/trigger anyone here, this was made entirely for fun and it was not supposed to be a critical video for sexism or to be purposely offensive or anything. I also never meant to erase anyone's feelings or existence. Of course, if I knew better then I wouldn't have done it. I've learned something valuable here, thank you for communicating with me. I will ask you to please stop arguing in the comments since I've already learned my lesson. I hope people can still enjoy this video for the art only.
And calm down. I am usually busy and don't have a lot of time to read comments. If I take a few hours to respond doesn't mean I am ignoring anyone. You guys also need to understand it is normal to step back, take a break, think about it and then address the issue when you realizesomething you did was wrong. That's how you make an apology sincere.

Also, I've seen some comments about that ScourgexFirestar video going around. Idk how it has anything to do with this, but look, it was a half assed shitpost I did when I was a 14 years old fujoshi. I didn't know it was an unsettling video for a really weird reson haha, my great grandparents were cousins, so my family treated incest as something somewhat normal. It took me a long time to realize how bizarre it is. So yeah, its time to let it go. I put it down so people stop commenting about it.

For ppl that did not understand the story, this is supposed to be squilf imagining how she would like to be treated by bramblestar if "she was a boy", then by the end of the video switching back to her reality. also that ending with leafpool was supposed to show how she lost her only source of support. i didnt put a loot of effort into the story, i put more in the drawings. there r some scenes that just arent as well thought. dont take this video extremely seriously, it was not supposed to be criticism even though it touches serious subjects. just putting this out here so ppl stop misinterpreting.

I love Squirrelflight, so I decided to make a PMV showing how the events of the books would look like if the cats were from another gender.
I had this idea a year ago. I decided to finish it now cause I thought it would be relevant. That's why some drawings are hella old but I tried to redo/fix most of them.
