The first clip was taken at Waldwick NJ. S-curve on the ex-Erie mainline. It was Ridgewood Railroad Days, and they brought Whippany River 148, ex- FEC 148 to do the honors. It is an ex-FEC 4-6-2 steam locomotive. It ran back and forth all day Saturday and Sunday between Ridgewood, and Waldwick. We see the 148 backing down toward Ridgewood, as one of EL U34CH's pass with a commuter train out of Hoboken, NJ. We also see a clip of a U34 coming off the Bergen County Line at Ridgewood Junction. The last clip is a U34 barreling into the station at Glen Rock on the mainline. All clips where taken with a primitive Kodak Super 8mm sound movie camera in 1975. Thanks for watching.
