Clint tells Sondra he wants to tell Viki the truth, but he knows it will hurt her. He hangs up just as Viki is walking in the back door. She asks for his forgiveness for resigning without telling him. He says all that matters is he has his wife back, but he doesn’t understand why she quit. Viki mentions the Banner’s financial situation and Clint snaps at her, swearing that the paper had money problems but doesn’t anymore. Megan and Jake are interrupted when Lucky calls to tell Jake he has a client for him. Hunter tells Andy he’s moving to the Palace before he drives her too crazy, but she says there’s no rush. Wanda tells Andy she shouldn’t let Hunter move out, but Andy says there’s no romance between the two of them. Max picks Cord up at the hospital, leaving Brenda and Larry alone to argue again. At Llanfair, Cord is happy to be home and can hardly believe how big Sarah has gotten since he’s been in the hospital. DuAnn asks for a word alone with Max. She stumbles through asking something, and Max asks if she’s looking for a job as Al’s nanny. He enthusiastically offers her the position, and Tina agrees to give up her nanny for Al’s sake. Julia meets with Carlo and tries to get money from him, which she claims is for a new lawyer. Carlo says he doesn’t have that kind of cash on him, but he’s happy to put Evan on her case full time. Julia says Evan has done enough harm already, and Carlo agrees to have the money delivered to her this afternoon. After Julia leaves, Carlo calls an associate and asks them to deliver the money to Julia and then to follow her to see what she does with it.

Megan tags along with Jake to meet up with Lucky, but they give her the slip while she is catching up with Hunter. Megan wants to follow him, but Hunter convinces him that interfering in Jake’s business isn’t a good idea. Clint gets a call from his secretary, telling him he has a visitor in his office. He leaves a note for Viki and heads to the office. Viki asks Cord if he thinks she should go back to the Banner, either part-time or full-time. Cord says he though everything was going smoothly, up until his accident. But, Cord warns, if she starts back at the Banner right away, Clint might think that’s why she resigned. Clint finds Asa in his office snooping through the paper’s financial statements. Asa offers him a cash infusion, but Clint says if he wanted Asa’s help, he’d ask for it. For the third time today, Clint apologizes for snapping at a family member, but he still insists he has the situation under control. After Asa leaves, Clint calls Sondra and says he has to see her. Hunter officially moves out of Andy’s, but promises he’ll keep visiting and he says he hasn’t forgotten about the fancy dinner he owes her. Down a dark alley, Jake walks into a seemingly empty warehouse, muttering that he must be nuts. Clint meets with Sondra again, and he says he thanks god that he found her.
