Security Advisor to Manipur government, Kuldiep Singh on Friday briefed media on the measures being taken to normalise the situation in Manipur. Singh said that the districts of Churachandpur, Tamenglong, Kamjong, Ukhrul, and Phirzawl are kept on high alert. He informed that a combing operation is being conducted to search and seize arms and ammunition and all forces have been briefed up to search for raw materials used to make rockets, missiles, drones among others. Singh briefed that all connected roads and villages within a five-kilometer radius, both hillside and valley areas, are being checked.
