This is the Rake and Scrunch Method of Styling Curly & Wavy Hair.
An upright styling technique that takes less than 5 minutes to complete. The technique does not involve any sectioning or method of curl clumping except for raking (rache*) and scrunching. The styling technique would suit individuals who want to enjoy a quick and easy technique of styling wavy or curly hair.

Please note that I have 2b/2c Indian wavy hair. Sometimes I am able to get 3a clumps. However, notice how I have loose waves today.
My clumps are not as robust as usual either. My root lift and volume is not the same either.
This technique would also suit Type 3 curly hair, if you're looking for looser curls and slight definition.
Use a light hold gel, that way you can comb through on day 2 easily.
Also please note that using a hard hold gel would also change my results.
My clumps would be a little more robust. I wouldn't be able to comb through on day 2 but I would have much more structure, definition and shrinkage.

In the video, I also compare the Rake and Scrunch to my usual Upright Styling technique using sections & a wide tooth comb to style my 2b/2c hair.
I also make comparisons between upright styling vs upside down styling. I also inserted a table comparing different techniques & application techniques that give you differences in curl size.
We compare praying hands, raking, roping, comb clumping to name a few.
In the video we also see the importance of sectioning vs non sectioning of hair during styling. We also see the importance of directing the hair away from the scalp in a perpendicular manner and what it does for root volume.

The video be a lot to unpack as a beginner. But we have now sufficiently covered the basics on this channel and now its time to delve into some more intermediate level topics.

LEAVE IN + BUTTER + GEL section. I meant to write (great for moisture retention in high porosity hair in the second column.
