Late August saw a lot of powerful storms in the Tampa Bay Area of Florida. On August 28th, a series of storms formed inland and then exploded as they moved west over Hillsborough and Pinellas counties.
I was driving home from work and exited the heavy rain on the east side of the Courtney Campbell Causeway. Once I arrived in Safety Harbor, it was already starting to rain on the western shores of the bay.
