this is from my 1994 bronco with a 5.8 and auto trans, the rear end is a 3.55 open diff and it always has had a little whine to it. the truck has 216,xxx miles on it, i decided to try to make it up a pretty steep rock face while off roading it, after many attempts and much spinning of the tires and bouncing up the rocky wall. by the time it was all over and i was heading home on the highway the whining was much worse and there was plenty of clunking going on as well. Got it home and and jacked it up and this is what was happening the entire drive home.
