Litter moisture in poultry houses is a major problem that causes diseases in chicks, intestinal diarrhea and respiratory symptoms due to increased ammonia coming out of the coop, stuffiness and poor ventilation. Therefore, it was necessary to keep the litter from moisture by increasing ventilation in the summer and reducing the filter operation to a minimum, and in the winter, not reducing ventilation below the minimum ventilation level in poultry farms. Adjusting the pressure level in the poultry water lines and using sawdust in the correct way with the addition of lime in a calculated manner to wet areas after replacing it with new sawdust. Adjusting the protein level in the feed as well as the period of using the starter feed. To avoid diarrhea, wet litter and problems that occur to chicks due to litter moisture such as coccidia and clostridia or respiratory problems for chickens such as sneezing or increased ammonia due to poor ventilation in the chicken houses.
