In this video, Perennial teaching artist, Theresa, shows you how to use cotton fabric, a strap cut from an old t-shirt (t-shirt yarn), and a paper clip to sew a DIY face mask on a machine.

Perennial does not guarantee that this mask will protect you against COVID-19. Per CDC guidelines, fabric face masks are not intended to replace surgical masks or N-95 respirators. They are simply meant to be used by the public in social settings like a grocery store where social distancing is difficult to maintain.
