Kikiana Hurwitz has a degree in Microbiology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. After graduation, she completed 8 years as a Research Assistant at the Pacific Cnidaria Research Laboratory working on Marine Toxins, more specifically Box Jellyfish. Since joining the college in 2012, she has instructed in both the Biochemistry and Biology divisions in the Natural Science Department. She is a native to the islands, and is married with two young children.
