The number of students enrolling for undergraduate programs in the U.S. is undergoing a historic decline. Alternatively, students are pursuing technical careers and preparing to join the work force after graduation. Join us as we learn more about the factors influencing this trend, and how school systems, educators, and architects are working together to provide dynamic CTE facilities for our communities.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
1. Discuss the current trend in graduating high school students joining the work force versus pursuing higher education, and what is influencing these changes.
2. Recognize alternate paths available to students and how potential employers are procuring talent.
3. Identify the role architects have in the development of educational facilities for students interested alternated paths and the different stakeholders involved.
4. Explore different CTE curriculum project case studies that successfully meet the needs of local communities.
