Burma Kadayıf Recipe;

Materials

250 g plain oil
400 g fresh kadayif

For the inner filling;

1 glass of dried kadayif
1.5 cups pistachios

For the sherbet;

2.5 cups of granulated sugar
2 glasses of water (400 ml)
juice of a quarter lemon

For the above;

Powdered pistachios

Preparation of

First, let's prepare the sherbet. To do this, let's put water and sugar in the pot, mix them and let them boil.
After 10 minutes of boiling, add lemon juice, boil for another 5 minutes and remove from the stove.
Let's mix 1 cup of crumbled kadayif with 1.5 cups of pistachios for the filling of our dessert.
Let's take about 4 spoons of plain oil and spread it by pressing it into our steel pan.
Let's place plenty of the pistachio filling we prepared on the fresh kadayif. Let's start wrapping the kadayif tightly by twisting it.
After twisting all our kadayifs, let's put them in the oiled pan.
After wrapping all the kadayifs in this way and placing them in the pan, let's melt the remaining clarified butter and drizzle it generously.
Let's start cooking our Burma kadayıf carefully by turning it over low heat so that it browns evenly on all parts.
While our kadayifs are cooking slowly, let's open them and let them brown on the sides.
After the bottom part of the kadayıf is fried enough, let's remove the excess oil from the pan into a separate bowl.
Let's turn the dessert upside down using a flat lid and put it back into the pan.
Let's pour the reserved oil over the dessert and continue frying it on all sides in the same way over low heat.
After frying the dessert for about 10 minutes on both sides, remove the excess oil and drizzle it with the warm sherbet we prepared beforehand.
Let's drain the sherbet completely and let it rest for a few hours to cool down.
Once the burma kadayıf has cooled and rested sufficiently, you can now slice it and serve it. Enjoy your meal!
