I am visiting the 17th UNESCO World Heritage Site in India - Nanda Devi and Valley of Flowers National Parks.
The Nanda Devi National Park is situated around the peak of Nanda Devi at 7816 m in Chamoli Garhwal district of Uttarakhand. The entire park lies at an elevation of more than 3,500 m. The peak is second highest after Kangchenjunga. The National Park was inscribed a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1988.
