KIVIAQ! Yes, it's here! The Holy Grail of fermentation.
Kiviaq is a fermented Little Auk seabird - about 300-500 are stuffed inside a seal, which is then sewn up and the whole caboodle is kept under rocks for between 2 and 6 months. The birds are then pulled out and eaten. Yum. It is actually really tasty. And incredibly good for you.
