Ingredients:
For filling:
Single pie crust
3 cups chopped apples
1 cup sour cream
2 eggs
1 cup white sugar
1 tsp vanilla
Pinch of salt

For topping:
1/2 cup flour
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup white sugar
1/2 cup cold butter


Directions:
Preheat oven to 375F

Line 9” pan with the pie crust and crimp the edges, set aside. Peel and chop 3 cups of apples (about 4 large apples) and layer evenly in the pie pan.

In a bowl mix remaining ingredients for filling until well combined and pour over the apples.

In a small bowl combine dry ingredients for the topping. Add in 1/2 cup butter, chopped, and cut the butter into the dry ingredients until they form a crumb-like texture. Layer evenly over the top of the apples and filling mixture.

Bake for 1 hour, cover crust with foil after 20 min so it doesn’t burn.

Cool completely and serve, this cuts best when chilled.
