How to make a splice/jumper/extension on #Govee permanent outdoor lights 2 (can’t guarantee this works with any other models). For the DIYer who doesn’t want to spend $1,000s on install. This may void your warranty so execute at your own risk. Don’t be afraid of doing this, it’s easy.

This allows a section of wire to be “blacked out” while continuing the strand. Example, going from first to second story and you don’t want that vertical line of lights.
