Many viewers have written me asking to explain in detail the type of gear i use to catch my Bigeye Scads, known in Hawaii as Akule. To many local anglers this popular targeted species is much sought after as a challenging shoreline species that is commonly fished for by boat. For years fishermen have guarded their locations & fishing methods. In this video i'll try to demonstrate my methods of preparation of my gear & leadering system that i employ to target Akule. Took over a day of taking pictures to making video segments to put this together. The processing & editing took 2 days to complete. Because of the length of this video i'll break it up for you.

The only information that i won't share are my locations. All anglers respect locations of others. Please remember that i'm sharing what works for me for my style of fishing. It may or may not work as well for you. Also you need to have faith in your abilities and in your equipment.
