In a significant development, Karachi University has declared the LLB degree of Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri of the Islamabad High Court as fake. The investigation revealed that Justice Jahangiri, admitted under the name Imtiaz Ahmed, had obtained his transcript using the name Tariq Jahangiri. The syndicate of the University of Karachi on Saturday cancelled the degree and enrolment of Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri.
