Tsubasa performed by NUS Guitar Ensemble as part of Aventura, held at School of the Arts, Singapore, on 31 March 2024.

One of the earliest compositions by Niibori guitar stalwart Kengo Momose, Tsubasa paints a magical musical landscape through its masterful use of techniques such as tremolo. Tsubasa, meaning “wings'' in Japanese, conveys Momose’s belief that each person carries a set of “invisible wings” which help them to chase their dreams. The piece is dedicated to all those who have lost their “invisible wings'', in the hopes that they will rediscover their hopes and dreams.
