Ted Williams is a baseball legend and his achievements on the field are legendary. He is also probably the greatest ever member of the Boston Red Sox. But what makes him even more special is he is also a war hero, and he missed almost five years of his prime while serving his country.

Still he is up there in the leaderboards. He is one of baseball's biggest what ifs. What if he didn't miss all those years as he fought in the Korean War and World War 2?
