put crankshaft inside freezer for about 1 to 2 hours. put bearings in oven at 275 degrees Fahrenheit for about 10 to 20 minutes. apply a small amount of oil or grease to the shaft before dropping the bearings. double check by tapping to be sure bearings are seated properly.
