Welfare of backward classes kallar, Maravar and Agamudayar known Mukkulathor calling the three communities as "Thever" - Order.

People belonging to kallar. Maravar and Agamudayar who are called "Mukkklathor', have been demanding that they should be declared a "Thever'. Accepting their demand, the Honourable Cheif Minister made as Mukkulathor. will henceforth be called as "Thever" and that the benefits enjoyed as suitable action will be taken by the Government on the reclassification of these communities on the strength of the recommendations to be made by the Tamilnnadu Backward classes commission constituted by the Government.
