Are you using the full potential of your Panasonic Lumix S5IIx?

Let me know in the comments if I made any mistakes, if my Mbits-metrics or any other facts are not correct. If any points are unclea, let me know so I can clarify them in a follow-up video.
Let me know if you want to see more videos of this series.

If you use an external SSD with the Lumix S5 Mark II X, you can leverage Cinema-4k All-Intra with 400 MBits and ProRes 422 HQ with 1.4Gbps. By using the Atomos Ninja V as external recorder, you can even use ProRes RAW with 860MBits.

Now you may ask yourself, what is the difference and how can ProRes RAW or ProRes 422 HQ benefit me? And should I not rather use 6k Long GOP since it is the largest format?

The answer is, it depends. In this video, I will do a more in depth analysis of what you can do with the different types of formats and how their noise behaves.

Note:
I did not mention it, but if you film fast moving subjects or you need to do greenscreen keying than All-I might be better suited than Long GOP since every frame is saved individually. I experienced myself artefacts when filming fast moving scenes with 150MBit Long GOP.

I used Davinci Resolve Studio to edit this video.

Special thanks to:
@JasonYadlovski for the loudness audio metering with Davinci Resolve.
@evertwissing for the YouTube button animation for Davinci Resolve.
