#BOOT GAITA | The Riojan bagpipe is characterized by the fact that its air tank is made with a #boot or #skin made of #skin, it has two sound tubes and the #flute has a double-reeded reed and eight holes. Fernando Jalón, in addition to being a #bagpipe maker with an extraordinary vocation, is a researcher of popular #music and a virtuoso of Riojan bagpipes and other traditional #instruments, which have been about to fall into oblivion. With him we were able to collect in #Alberite (La Rioja) the manufacture of these bagpipes in 1999. #Documentary
