Former US President Donald Trump has recounted new details surrounding the attempt on his life at the Butler, Pennsylvania rally.
In an exclusive interview with Fox News's Laura Ingraham, Trump revealed how his son Barron found out about the shooting.
“Barron was playing tennis with his friends, and somebody walked over and ran over and said, 'Your father's been shot. He's been shot',” he said.
“Barron really likes his father a lot… and he came in [saying], ‘Mom, mom, Mom, what happened? Then they saw me get up, and then they saw the fist bump… it's very interesting. When I got up, people thought maybe he's dead.”
The attempt on Trump’s life left the former president with a bloodied ear but sadly claimed the life of Corey Comperatore.
