Using drone footage, we give you a bird's-eye view of the Anza-Borrego Desert to the east and the Pacific Crest Trail that lies hidden beneath the mountains. We reflect back on how the settlers circumnavigated the Peninsular Ranges, and also delve into the geological history of the region.
