Why is the case of compulsory retirement going on?

In Jaipur, the Rajasthan government is taking a strong stance against government employees involved in corrupt practices and negligence. Chief Secretary Sudhansh Pant has announced that a list of such employees will be created, and those failing to perform their duties with fairness and transparency will be given compulsory retirement. The process targets officers and employees who are consistently disinterested, corrupt, and unable to fulfill their administrative duties. Departments have been instructed to take necessary action as per Rule 53(1) of Rajasthan Civil Services (Pension) Rules 1996, which allows for compulsory retirement of employees after 15 years of service if they are found lacking in performance.

Additionally, following the recent Rajasthan assembly elections, surprising post-ballot data has emerged. Although the BJP won a majority with 115 seats and Congress secured 70 seats, post-ballot figures reveal that Congress received 48 percent of the votes compared to BJP's 38 percent. This discrepancy between EVM and post-ballot data has sparked discussions about the voting process.
