In this video I am demonstrating some of the steps of a seasonal colour analysis session.

The first phase is to determine a clients undertone. You can clearly see that this client has a warm undertone because the warm colours look much nicer on her. The warm red looks better than the cool red. This client also looks a lot more vibrant in gold than she does in silver. This is because gold is warm and silver is cool.

The next step in a seasonal colour analysis is to find the clients season. Because she has a warm undertone we are eliminating summer and winter. We are now looking between spring and autumn and you can clearly see the autumn colours look a lot more in harmony with her. Spring colours light bright crisp and vibrant and they look too overpowering on her. However, when this client wears the autumn colours which are muted soft and earthy they align with this clients characteristics and therefore they look absolutely stunning on her.
