THE ONE THING EVERY MUSICIAN NEEDS is something that can't be taught. It is not learned or given. It is something you are born with. Whether it starts small and grows overtime or its there with you from the very beginning. Love. A love for creation. A love for expression. A love for the art in it's purest form. Whether it's bad or it's great. Whether you have 30 fans or 30,000,000 fans. Whether your bank account is full or empty. One thing every artist needs is not a list of the best free apps for musicians. It is not a list of music tools every musician needs. It is not the 5 best DAWS for making music, plugins, or any piece of software or hardware. Before any of that, to merely survive in this line of work (whether you make it 'big' or not...), every artist needs a love for what they do. Because it is love and love only that is going to push you when there is no money to keep you inspired and no fans to keep you going. You just go because you love it.
