In 1972 Buffy Sainte-Marie performed three songs on the Underground News Show.

This particular song "Mister Can't You See" happens to be her most highly charted song. As an indigenous person, she is also widely known as an outspoken activist for all Native People as well as any other oppressed humans. She was discovered by Bob Dylan, appeared regularly on Sesame Street in the late seventies and won an Oscar in 1982 for the song, "Up Where We Belong."

To say the least, Buffy Sainte-Marie is an iconic artist worth knowing and remembering.
