How I Photograph Weddings as a Street Photographer: In this video, I talk about how I see the correlation between Wedding Photography and Street Photography.

Using the documented shooting approach of Tony Ray Jones, I'll explain how the way we photography on the streets can aid us when photographing documentary weddings.

Details of my talks at the 2019 Photography show can be found here: https://bit.ly/2O2ma3d

In this video I talk about the great photographer, Tony Ray-Jones and his shooting approach notes:

Be More Aggressive

Get More Involved

Stay with the subject matter

Take Simpler Pictures

Relate Background to Subject

Vary Composition and Angles

Be more aware of composition

Don’t take boring pictures

Get in closer

Don’t shoot too much

Not all eye level

I explore in depth how I use those guidelines in Street Photography, but also how I incorporate them into my documentary wedding photography.

At the end of the video is another full-length wedding Photofilm, so hang around to the end if you wish to see that.

As ever, please feel free to leave comments below and I'll do my best to get back to you as soon as I can.
