Snippets from a beautiful, 30-mile, mid-morning flight around the Collegedale, Ooltewah, and Apison, TN environs. Pan around and look down at the current progress of Phase 3 of the new routing (and widening to 5 lanes) of Apison Pike, including the buildout of the new Tallant Rd roundabout. Notice the amount of eminent domain, wherein acres and acres of private property have been acquired and several homes razed. MANY more will follow as Phase 3 continues towards the airport and past by about a mile and a half.

The prominent bump in the landscape is Grindstone Mt. The long ridge is White Oak Mt.
