Watch this video to see a complete tour of Crystal Cruise ships' Symphony. We sailed on Symphony between Venice and Istanbul for twelve days and now we'll share it with you!

ABOUT THIS CHANNEL: We are two 60-somethings who are fortunate enough to be able to smell the roses---and we do!---(while we still can). We don't like videos in which the content creator is the star of the show. We prefer to show you what you want to see: the surroundings, the physical space and the atmosphere. We want to impart good, useful information to help you plan your travels!

Welcome aboard the magnificent Crystal Symphony!

We’ll begin our tour in a moment, but first let me tell you about some related upcoming videos. They include tours of six different suites on the ship, a complete guide to all the dining on the ship, a typical twelve-day experience on Symphony AND a comparison: Crystal versus Silversea. Which is best for you?

Please subscribe and turn on notifications and you’ll be one of the first to know when those videos are posted.

Symphony is one of just two ships in the Crystal Fleet (the other being Serenity). However, Crystal has announced they have signed a binding agreement with an Italian shipbuilder to build two new ocean-going classic ships for them. The first ship is expected to be delivered in the Spring of 2028.

She has a guest capacity of six-hundred six.

There are twelve decks on Symphony, with decks one, two and three off-limits to passengers, and the only time you’ll set foot on deck four is to embark or disembark depending on the port of call.

In this video, we’ll tour decks twelve and eleven and decks six and five.

In an upcoming video, we will tour six different categories of suites and guest rooms for you, so be sure to subscribe and turn on notifications and you’ll be one of the first to know when that video is posted.

So, let’s take a look at the layout of the very busy deck six.

We continue our tour starting aft on deck six where you’ll find one of the three speciality, up-charge restaurants, Osteria D’Ovidio, named for one of the controlling owners of Crystal Cruises. The Osteria features fine Italian cuisine and has just 64 seats.

Currently, adjacent to the Osteria is The Bridge Lounge

Heading forward on deck six, we find the studio and the computer university@sea where guests can use desktop computers with large monitors.

The Avenue Saloon is Symphony’s Signature piano bar.

Just a few steps forward you’ll find the Connoisseur Club, an elegant space to indulge in the finest cigars and cognacs.

Continuing forward on deck six, as you enter the Starlight Club, you’ll see Crystal Images. This is the space for the ship’s photographers.

On selected evenings before and after dinner, The Starlight Club features dancing, production shows, cabaret performances and other themed events.

On the port (left) side of the ship—- just outside The Starlight Club is the Vintage Room.

And, just aft of the Vintage Room is Umi Uma Restaurant and Sushi Bar.

By the way: depending on your suite class and the length of your cruise, you may not be required to pay any up-charge to dine here. For our twelve night cruise, we were given four nights —-without charge—- at either Umi Uma or the Osteria.

Continuing forward on deck six, we come to the Library.

Deck six is also where you’ll find the few shopping opportunities onboard.

And, one last eatery on deck six is The Bistro. Crystal describes this as a “Parisian-inspired café and coffee bar”, but we didn’t really notice any French Connection.

Farther forward on deck six is the Hollywood Theatre where full-length feature films play most afternoons and evenings.

Notice the comfy blankets for those who mind the air conditioning.

This large, open space was once the casino.

There’s a small bar just aft of the lounge called “Jade” and here’s where you’ll find more lively dancing as most nights Jade has a dee-jay spinning tunes.

It’s here, too, that you’ll need to grab a drink before heading into any of the shows playing in the Galaxy Lounge as Crystal no longer has drink service in the Galaxy lounge during shows.

The Galaxy Lounge has some of the best entertainment on board including some shows with well-choreographed dancing.

cocktail bar, Crystal Cove. But, the bulk of deck five is the Waterside Restaurant.
