Day 2 of the trip started off before the sun rose. We would catch a few trains while awaiting the arrival of Amtrak 4.

10:49 Moving into Flagstaff, a long line of westbounds is waiting to get through a rail gang working west of town, the first is a westbound autorack.

12:37 We move across the tracks to catch the next one, a westbound Z.

15:18 The hottest train on the railroad, the former Santa Fe 199 is next up on the list.

18:13 A nice looking bonnet fronts the 3rd Z train bound for Phoenix
