The Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) released a list of 53 drugs which failed the quality test two weeks ago. Following up on that the regulator also released the list of pharmaceutical manufacturing units spread across 8 states where these raids were conducted.

Some of the medicines that were found to be of substand quality including Paracetamol, Vitamin supplements, High- Blood Pressure medicines, common antibiotics and the list continues. For the first time that the authorities have cracked down on many units.
