The Yashica Minister D was the first camera I ever bought(1972).It was very simple to use and had a unique metering system that enabled me to learn very easily the relationships between ISO(Then called ASA),shutter speed and aperture. My next camera was the Penatx Spotmatic 2 but the Yashica allowed me to seamlessly move into SLR photography.
I forgot to mention that this camera has a leaf shutter lens and flash sync is all speeds up to 1/500th sec.
